1937 Selvedge Denim Buckle Back Jeans

Inspired by 1930s denim during the Great Depression, the 37801XX jeans reflect the transition of American workwear, adapting to a changing era. In 1937, suspender buttons were removed, and the exposed back rivets were covered to prevent scratches on furniture and car seats. While the classic back cinch buckle was retained, preserving its vintage charm.

Crafted from 13 oz raw selvedge denim, resulting in significant shrinkage and natural twisting may exist after the first wash.

Cut with a mid-high rise and generous room through the seat and thigh, the silhouette features a straight, wide leg similar to the 44801XX. It represents the early, work-oriented fit of pre-war jeans—looser and more functional than the slimmer styles of the 1960s.
